Jacqueline Lo Production Choreographer | Here comes another Lo! Jacqueline Lo! As the co-choreographer of the Modern Chinese piece with Bud Lo, Jac is not in any way related to Bud. Sorry to burst your bubble of thinking this was a sibling piece ;) Hi, I'm Jacqueline. This is my second year in Flare and my 14th year in dance. I started dancing since I was 5. I was brought to the dance studio by my mom because she liked watching me dance and soon I started loving it and it became a part of my life. I started off with Traditional Chinese dance. Other than just doing dance exams, I performed on stage a lot. I enjoyed all those moments on stage. Few years ago, I started to interest myself in contemporary dance and last year, I joined FLARE! I remembered that my very first piece was a commercial piece. It was a new genre for me and it was also out of my comfort zone. Of course, I enjoyed it a lot. I also did some contemporary dance in Flare. For this year's production, it was my first time choreographing. Due to the opportunity that Flare gave me, I am choreographing a Modern Chinese piece with a partner - Bud. The reason behind choreographing a Chinese piece is because that's why I started dancing and that's what makes me love dancing. This piece portrays the memories of ourselves with people around us as we grow. Even though there will be sad memories, the happy ones will help us move on. Hope you all enjoy watching production this year!!! Happy dancing!! xoxo! So have you bought your tickets yet to see the Lo duo in action? Purchase them here! |
