Now that the exam period is coming to a close, we figure you all want to get back into dancing after a month or so in 'dance-hibernation'. So, Flare has organised classes over the winter break for all you lucky, lucky people. The first round of classes start this coming Monday with Jonathan and Kaeden's contemporary classes. The remaining classes can be viewed on the timetable (click on the blue arrows on the top left hand corner to scroll through each week). For this holiday period only, non-members can join classes for FREE! As if that's not enough reason to come down and check us out. Frequently Asked Questions: Can I join Flare if I'm not a University of Melbourne student? Yes! Flare welcomes anyone who wants to join us even if you're no longer a student. Simply come to one of our classes and ask a committee member about joining. I've never danced before, will there be classes catering for beginners? Definitely, Flare has a lot to offer for dancers of various levels. The level and genre of each class is detailed in our timetable. How do I join? What does membership entitle me to? Simply come into one of our classes and find a committee member. We'll be at the door checking memberships. Bring $25 cash to receive your membership card. Membership entitles you to all of Flare Dance Ensemble's classes for the year (2015 membership means you can come to any of Flare Dance Ensemble's classes in 2015). This does not include classes taught by external choreographers (but this will be advertised on the timetable). I have another question that's not on this list! Help! You can send us an email here and we'll get back to you as soon as we can |
